Last week at Craft Central there was a gorgeous bespoke wedding fair where I met some lovely craft people and I wanted to share them with you if you’re looking for something fun or unique and all crafted by hand then these are for you,
Save the date cards printed as wooden postcards are divine and so eye catching and so much fun, you can create your message and get them sent directly or order them plan and write them your self - definitely worth investigating!!
Rachel Black produces really exquisite hats and bands and I was just transfixed by the gold band as soon as I saw it, it’s so pretty and yet gorgeously structured,
I was also so delighted and smiled like a child finding a gem when I came across Jo Heckett’s porcelain wedding gifts, you can purchase off the peg pieces such as top table favors or commission your own and at the beginning of the fair in the first room I met Freya from Freyalines who creates beautiful cut paper surface designs and I just felt they were so delightful, crisp and clean without being cold in their appearance, they were stunning and there was a couple of pieces A4 in size which would make perfect gifts for couples with their names and wedding dates inside…do check them out!
If you’re looking for a present to commemorate a wedding or celebrate the couple, or are a couple who have saved fun things from your dates and your wedding, you can compile them all and let Tracey Bush design and create a memory display of cut papers, housed in really stunning boxed glass frame, they reminded me a little of the way the Victorians preserved their most prized possessions and I loved this, Tracey has a fantastic very inspiration website which I just poured over with glee!!
Another delightful find (and I found quite a few!!) was this amazing gold necklace - the whole collection is just adorable and I felt, quite graphic and bold, named after “The Shard” you can see why…I think they’d make great gifts for the bridesmaids or for yourself!! :-)
When I came across the mice I chuckled and thought, Gosh! What a great idea!! Lovingly hand made these mice are PERFECT if you have a cake of cheese!! and if you have a thing for mice :-) they are supa cute and will definitely make you smile and are very reasonably priced,
Last but not least DE ANA Kiernan’s jewellery and invitations were seriously eye catching and she has a great space at the Craft Central so do pop along and see her work there!
